Lakers New: Dwight Howard Will Leave California To Ease Decision

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, Lakers free agent Dwight Howard is going to step away from the city of Los Angeles in order to fully evaluate his decision regarding what team he intends to sign with.

Howard has met with five different teams between late Sunday night through Tuesday afternoon, and with the Lakers last.

In Dwight’s meeting with the Lakers, he was sold on his importance to the Laker franchise, the fans, as well as the community that surrounds the city of Los Angeles.

Steve Nash, who was in the meeting, indicated that he was hopeful of Dwight’s return, but also mentioned that it’s going to be tough for Dwight to make a decision, which could possibly indicate why he has elected to leave Los Angeles for a few days.

These next few days are crucial for the Lakers and their future moving forward without Kobe Bryant. The Dwightmare is nearing an end. The only question is will he leave or will he decide to become the franchise player of the historic Los Angeles Lakers?
