Lakers Nation Week in Review: Oct. 19- Oct. 26

Although the team does not have high expectations, the players are determined to turn some heads and prove their doubters wrong.

Kobe Bryant has already been ruled out for the Lakers’ season opener, but the front office has done a great job loading up the backcourt. Even though the Lakers lost Dwight Howard over the summer, the team added a lot of young talent to the roster and their project is about to begin shortly.

In preparation of next Tuesday, here is Lakers Nation’s week in review.

The Lakers may go after former backup shooting guard, Shannon Brown.

Steve Nash said his neck is “bothering him.”

Los Angeles officially waived Marcus Landry.

Mike D’Antoni has ruled out Kobe Bryant for the season opener.

Phil Jackson said he may not be able to physically coach again. 

Dennis Rodman gives the Lakers no chance this season.

Bryant admits there was tension with Dwight Howard.

According to the GM survey, Bryant is the toughest player in the NBA, but the second best shooting guard behind James Harden.
