The Los Angeles Lakers began the week north of the border as they made their lone visit to Toronto. In the game, Dwight Howard, was ejected and to add insult to injury, the Lakers walked off the court losers, 108-103.

Despite no Derrick Rose on the Bulls’ roster, Chicago handed the Lakers a tough loss in the Windy City. The Bulls played terrific defense against the Lakers the entire night and outplayed them on both ends of the court.

The Lakers paid a visit to the Memphis Grizzlies and the young Memphis team beat the Lakers in every way possible. Los Angeles had no answer for the Grizzlies’ explosiveness and Memphis proved to the world that it is ready to take the next step in becoming an elite team.

Los Angeles got its first win of the week Friday night when it hosted the Utah Jazz. The Lakers played an overall great game and it is performances like this one that fans want on a nightly basis. The Lakers have a very well balanced offense and finished the game on top, 102-84.
