With the NBA playoffs underway, the Lakers are currently in the process with off-season activities. Kobe Bryant, who only played in six games this past season, has begun his intensive six month training program last Monday at the Lakers practice facility.
Also, two-time NBA champion Pau Gasol, wrote on his personal blog about his impending free agency. Gasol mentioned that Kobe Bryant would be one reason to stay with the team, but there would also have to be significant changes.
Finally, in the midst of all the speculation for the head coaching position next year, it was rumored that the Lakers management has decided to retain Mike D’Antoni for the 2014-2015 season.
