      lavine=farmar?????lol

      lavine is underrated!!!

      • nlruizjr

        so is Farmar, how in the hell can anyone place Marshall ahead of Farmar ??????

  • michael

    We could trade down with the Hornets, Suns or Chicago.
    With the Hornets we would get #9 and #24, so we would be able to draft stauskas and either anderson or Lavine.

    Jahii Carson don’t sleep on him.Great young fast player reminds me of Terrell Brandon and Ty Lawson mixed in one.Buy a pick work him out.I love the Lakers and this is the player i watched for years he is worth it.

    Jahii Carson at the 2014 Draft Combine had a 33.5 no step vert. 43.5 max vert

    I am just saying get Jahii in the second round by trading cash for a pick.In the first round at pick #7 draft Marcus Smart and then buy a second round pick and draft the guy i think will be a major steal Jahii Carson.Yes Jahii Carson is the perfect backup for Marcus Smart and they can also play together as a fast speedy backcourt much like the Wizards with Wall and Beal or Chalmers and Wade.

    • nlruizjr

      Smart was hesitant about wanting to play for P&G, “I could, well we’ll see”, that doesn’t sound like someone ready to play for the Lakers, on the other hand Gordon, Randle, Saric, and Exum hands down want to play for the Lakers, Smart can kiss my a$$ !!!!!

      I agree, Jahii could be a good pickup in the second round but only if they don’t get Lavine, Smart or Exum. He will be a project but I think he has much better two way potential than Kendall Marshall. With Nash, Marshall and potentially even Farmar being on the roster for next season drafting two point guards wouldn’t be a good choice in my opinion. A power forward is the priority in my opinion (preferably Aaron Gordon or Noah Vonleh)

    Would New Orleans trade their picks to move up? If they would part with 9 & 24 for 7 then I would do it. At 9 we could take Aaron Gordon if he is still available as his high motor, great athleticism and defensive versatility will make him an NBA weapon in a few years when his jump shot is more reliable. If he is gone then Zach Lavine could be an option or you could get Randle, Smart falling on the night. At 24 we could look at a more stable choice like TJ Warren if he is available, Glenn Robinson III or Kyle Anderson if he falls enough or maybe Dario Saric if his agent puts off the other team! I would also enquire to the 76′ers about purchasing one of their second rounders as they have 5. Depending on which one you could look at a quick athletic point guard in Jahii Carson if they don’t pick up Lavine, if not then a big man could be worth a shot. 280lb Bosnian powerhouse Jusuf Nurkic, the 7’3 Spaniard Walter Tavares or 7’1 Isaiah Austin.
