Lakers Nation Instagram Picture Of The Week: A Kobe Graphic

According to Jim Buss, Kobe Bryant is ahead of schedule to return by preseason after his Achilles injury in April. Although the Lakers season schedule will not be released until August, Jim Buss says not to be surprised if the Black Mamba is back sooner that expected.

“He’s real sharp in taking care of himself and he’s not going to rush anything just to get back and prove a point. He’s going to come back when he’s right. He’s a machine. He’s inhuman. I see him coming back at the beginning of this season. I can’t believe how much he’s progressed so far.”  Buss told NBA TV, according to ESPN.com.

Of course this is great news for Laker fans as they strongly believe that Kobe will be back stronger than ever. However, some are strongly convinced he’s too old for the league and will soon discover that he cannot keep up with the athleticism of a Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Paul George…etc. Check out this Instagram picture  of the week from GoldenKnightgfx that shows encouragement and hope for Kobe to silent the critics.
