I’ve come to grips with the hapless nature of what’s going on with the Lakes this season as much as the next guy, I really have, but I resent this being labeled as “tanking”…I really don’t think there is anything premeditated or deliberate about it, they’re just not a very good team right now due to a lot of different circumstances beyond their control. I wish people would stop invoking the phrase “tanking” – it simply does not apply…yeah, and that means you Alex Torres!

Now that I’ve seen all the top prospects for the upcoming draft, one stands head and shoulders, literally, above the rest.Joel Embiid of Kansas is the man.His combination of size, athleticism, versatility, fierce competitiveness and upside, dwarfs the competition. He would look awesome in purple and gold.

I just know they NEED to lose as many games as they can in order to get a top three pick. As for who, lets just say that Embiid is not what they need, it’s a top 5 type point guard. There are two points that could go in the top 5 & we should be taking one of them. …As for tanking, hell they are tanking based on hard play, they can’t win more then they are….

They’re not tanking, simply playing to their abilities. Just why they belong nowhere near the playoffs. I love them but they need a good draft pick.
