Lakers Lose to Suns History Making 3pt Performance

The Lakers come out in the 1st quarter hard, but cannot get past the Phoenix Suns and their 22 three pointers for 2nd most in NBA History and lose to the Suns 121-116 on a very high scoring affair.

Key Number in the game has to be Suns 22 Three-Pointers, but also the Lakers 18 Turnovers, most of which came in the 1st half!

Ohter Notes – Kobe misses a triple double by 1 rebound.

The true story of the game is Lamar getting called for a technical call in the middle of a highly emotional comeback. We were at 104-100 and Lamar just laid it in for 2. He was obviously fouled by Hedo Turkoglu, but there was no call. I can’t blame him for yelling considering the emotions of the game. The ref and the NBA truly need to look at the consistency of that new rule and figure out the true spirit of it.
