Lakers Injury News: Kobe Bryant Says Rehab Has ‘Been A Slow Process’
[new_royalslider id=”125″]

There’s still no timetable set for Kobe Bryant’s return to the floor for the Los Angeles Lakers this season. Kobe has been adamant about returning at some point in the second half of the season, but still doesn’t know when that will be.

Before the 2014 NBA All-Star Game got underway on Sunday, Kobe spoke about the rehab process saying the following according to ESPN’s J.A. Adande:

With Kobe still giving no indication when he’ll be back on the floor, there’s a good chance the superstar guard may have only a few more games left in him this season. So far, Kobe has only played in six games since returning from the Achilles tendon tear and going down with the knee fracture in December.

Despite Kobe’s reluctance to shut it down for the year, the five-time NBA champion is running out of time and may be forced to do so in the coming months. Only 29 games remain in the regular season for the Lakers and a trip to the playoffs doesn’t seem to be on the horizon with the team currently tied for the worst record in the Western Conference at 18-35.
