Lakers Dunk Of The Week: Kobe Bryant Schools Josh Smith

With the exception of their loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, it’s been a great week for the Lakers. Their down-from-25-points comeback win against the New Orleans Hornets seems to have brought the entire team and the Lakers fan community back together. Kobe Bryant’s been unstoppable, and once again he takes center stage for our Lakers dunk of the week.

Let’s set the scene. Sunday night, and the Lakers are down 93-94 to the Atlanta Hawks before Kobe starts his six point run (which eventually produces a 99-98 win for the Lakers). Mamba puts a move on Hawks’ defender Josh Smith and flies right by him to produce this emphatic dunk that was all over SportsCenter! Check out our video below.
