Xavier Henry has been sidelined for the Lakers since December nursing a bone bruise in his right knee. He has missed 27 games this season and today was assigned to the D-League.

This is a good sign for Henry as it means he is closer to getting back in action and could soon be called up to help out the struggling Lakers. Henry’s presence would provide a big boost for the Lakers who have lost seven of their last eight games and are currently on a three game slide.

In other news around the league, Dwight Howard offered up advice to Carmelo Anthony on how to decide where to go in free agency. The Houston center said that Anthony should think about his options using his head and not let his heart affect his decision.

There have been many rumors that Anthony will leave the Knicks during the offseason to sign with the Lakers, but as of now it seems as if the all-star will resign with New York and try to rebuild that franchise.

Danny Granger To Sign With Clippers…

Wonder if those inept offices at the other franchises regret passing up on Gasol now or other players as opposed to staying put come cutoff time. If this does indeed take place they be a top 3 seed at minimum. Time do change it deed but we’ll see what next season brings.

    Xavier Henry sucks!!!!!!

Man this was supposed to be the season the Lakers fought for the seventh or eighth spot and at worse got maybe 9-12 well they also were supposed to find a gem from all the guys signing 1 year deals. They got close to finding a gem with Kendall Marshall but his cold shooting since the Steve Blake trade have put serious doubt on his future on the Lakers and for that matter he might not make it in the NBA.That is the coldest shooting streak i have ever seen.

Nick Young is injured yet again and he was just a chucker mainly.Ryan Kelly is not very good.Sacre sucks ass.Meeks is a backup player getting big minutes due to injuries.Hill is a whipping boy for Mike Antoni.Farmar is injury prone and a role player at best.Wes Johnson is cold more often than he is hot and he just seems lethargic and too soft and laid back to give a crap.

Bazemore is too new and has not played enough to evaluate him fairly.Brooks is too new to evaluate and he is not a sure thing.Xavier Henry is a fringe NBA player.Nothing came out of all these 1 year deals stupid ass Jim Buss handed out.Nothing at all.Yeah Lakers need the top 3 pick to become a superstar all these other players should develop more skills or just be gone next season.
