Lakers News and Rumors Recap: Xavier Henry Assigned To D-Fenders
[new_royalslider id=”132″]

Xavier Henry has been sidelined for the Lakers since December nursing a bone bruise in his right knee. He has missed 27 games this season and today was assigned to the D-League.

This is a good sign for Henry as it means he is closer to getting back in action and could soon be called up to help out the struggling Lakers. Henry’s presence would provide a big boost for the Lakers who have lost seven of their last eight games and are currently on a three game slide.

In other news around the league, Dwight Howard offered up advice to Carmelo Anthony on how to decide where to go in free agency. The Houston center said that Anthony should think about his options using his head and not let his heart affect his decision.

There have been many rumors that Anthony will leave the Knicks during the offseason to sign with the Lakers, but as of now it seems as if the all-star will resign with New York and try to rebuild that franchise.
