Kobe Bryant Trends Worldwide on Twitter After Heat Win

The Miami Heat won their second consecutive title after beating the Spurs in Game 7 on Thursday night, giving LeBron James his second ring and the franchise its third. Fans took to Twitter to congratulate the Heat on winning, while Lakers fans looked forward to the return of Kobe Bryant.

Despite the Lakers having absolutely no connection to the Game 7, Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant was trending worldwide on Twitter following the Heat’s win.

Bryant is currently rehabbing an Achilles injury, and he hopes to return some time early next season (November or late December). The Lakers are now three years removed from their last championship and with Bryant’s career coming to and end, the Black Mamba is determined to leave with another ring in his trophy collection.
