Kobe Bryant Talks Injured Achilles, Next Step & Recovery Process

With Kobe Bryant going down Friday night with a reported torn Achilles, the recovery process will be a long, strenuous journey. Still, in typical Kobe fashion, his post-game interview he talked about the recovery process, and how even minutes after the injury he’s already planning his return.

From Ken Berger of CBS Sports, Kobe’s post-game comments are exactly what we expected.

So how will Kobe respond? Will he sulk? Spend time feeling sorry for himself? Of course not. So what’s next?

The official timetable for Bryant’s return is obviously unknown at this point. But there’s no question he’s done for the rest of this season.

Still, Bryant’s attitude, which has made him the player he is today, and he’ll be back. When asked whether or not this was his last game, he had the best response of the night.

“Really?”
