Kobe Bryant Takes Credit for Work Ethic of NBA’s Young Stars

Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers is perhaps the hardest working player in the NBA he is one that never takes a day off. Bryant essentially lives in the gym and he will do whatever it takes to improve his game.

Even at the age of 34, there is no stopping Kobe and a lot of that is due to his extensive work ethic. That incredible dedication to the game is something that rubs off on Kobe’s teammates and some of the younger stars in the league today. In fact, Bryant told ESPN Los Angeles that many of the NBA’s younger player base their work ethic off him.

“Just by observation of some of the younger players that I face now, they wind up having a similar mentality that I had,” Bryant said recently when asked how he has changed the sport, via ESPNLosAngeles.com. “Because growing up, they were obviously watching me when I was 21, 22 years old and just kind of by any means necessary get things done, not afraid of the big moment and extremely competitive. They all have these work ethics now and most of them get up at five in the morning to train like I do. It’s pretty cool.”

The league has many great players in the early stages of their careers and they have the ultimate luxury of looking at Kobe Bryant as a role model. At the end of the day, Kobe Bryant will go down as one of the greatest players in league history and he will leave behind an amazing legacy.

However, there is still sometime before Bryant calls it quits. Even though Bryant has been a role model to these young players, he’s going to want to beat them come playoff time.
