Superstar Kobe Bryant continues to be seen publicly on the during current road trip for the Los Angeles Lakers even though he’s still not ready to get back on the floor. Bryant’s latest public appearance came on Wednesday at an NCAA college basketball game between the Miami Hurricanes and Duke Blue Devils.
Bryant wasn’t the only NBA star in attendance with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade also being among the famous faces in the crowd, but Bryant definitely turned a lot of heads with the new colorway of Kobe 9 Elite he was wearing.
Although yet to be released to the public or even promoted by Nike, Bryant debuted a new Lakers colorway for the Kobe 9 Elite according to Kicksologist.com:
Bryant was a busy man on Wednesday making another surprise appearance in a college classroom before heading to the game. The five-time NBA champion showed up at Miami University and making an appearance at the game against the school, Duke, Bryant might have attended to before declaring for the NBA Draft in 1996.
Although Bryant is a big fan of Duke and Team USA head coach Mike Krzyzewski, the future NBA Hall of Famer showed some love for the Hurricanes during the game:
On Thursday night, Bryant’s Lakers will face off against the two-time defending NBA champion Miami Heat before heading to Orlando to take on the Magic the following night.
It’ll be interesting to see if Bryant continues to make these public appearances and what kicks he may be debuting in the process throughout the second half of the NBA season.
