Kobe Bryant Reportedly Ill, Misses All-Star Media Session

After struggling in the last two games against the Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder, Lakers’ guard Kobe Bryant reportedly missed an All-Star media session on Friday.

According to the L.A. Times, Bryant, who arrived in Orlando for the All-Star festivities late Thursday evening, was expected to hold his first press conference of All-Star weekend Friday morning.

Members of the news media waited 45 minutes for the 14-time All-Star to arrive, then were told by a Lakers spokesperson that Bryant was ill. No further explanation was provided.

Bryant is still expected to play in the All-Star game despite missing today’s media session.
