Kobe Bryant Hosting Nike Kobe 8 System Event At Venice Beach

Kobe’s signature shoes are some of the most popular on the planet, and each season when his latest kicks hit the shelves they’re some of the most sought after sneakers on the market. This season we’ll get a taste of the Kobe 8 System, and Kobe himself will be headlining an event at Venice Beach to launch his latest signature shoe on Saturday, December 8th.

Beginning at noon on Dec. 8th, fans will be able to try the new shoe and compete in a timed basketball experience that allows them to try and duplicate certain areas that Kobe has demonstrated mastery of in his sport—speed, accuracy, focus, and vision

Jeff Garcia, the Sports Dude from Power 106 FM, will host the event, and speak to Kobe about the Kobe 8 System, and what it feels like to play at the speed of light.
