Lin recently talked about struggling with pride and admitting he’s not as humble as many believe he with the following Facebook post via The Christian Post:

“I’m not humble. Pride is [the] greatest sin I struggle with,” he wrote on Facebook. “But I’d say as I get older, go through more experiences in life and face tougher obstacles, I realize that I’m more sinful and need God more than I ever imagined.”

With Lin now playing in the second biggest market in the United States, the Harvard product will likely continue to see his popularity rise with fans in this country and in China. The combination of Kobe and Lin in the backcourt in Los Angeles will easily make the Lakers that much more popular in Asia and therefore increasing the pressure for Lin to get back to form as one of the better point guards in the NBA.

Lin lost his starting job with the Houston Rockets last season with Patrick Beverley emerging as a better option at the point guard position. The California native will look to have a bounce back year in Los Angeles while trying to prove that Linsanity era in New York wasn’t a fluke.
