Jamie Foxx Talks ‘Getting Into It’ With Kobe Bryant (VIDEO)

Lakers Nation caught up with Jamie Foxx at the Harold and Carole Pump Foundation over the weekend and asked him to tell his story about meeting Kobe Bryant for the first time. Foxx, an avid Dallas Mavericks fan, said that during one of his LA shows, Bryant came back stage and they “got into it.”

Check out our video above for the full story, which includes an account of a string of text messages between the two superstars, before the Lakers 2010 NBA Championship. One of those texts, in typical Kobe fashion, has Bryant telling Foxx he’d be choking on his fifth ring someday. Choke up, Foxx!

Foxx sure knows how to tell an entertaining and animated story. Lakers Nation first got wind of their meeting on Foxx’s radio show, The Foxxhole on SiriusXM.
