Opening Week has been met with mixed results. The Lakers kicked off their season with a huge win over the Clippers at Staples Center. However, on the second of a back-to-back, they struggled mightily to keep up with the Warriors on a night most of us would like to forget. Last night, the Lakers competed well, but just couldn’t put together enough wins down the stretch to beat the Spurs.

One of the bright spots in this young season has been Xavier Henry, which was well displayed on this dunk with Chris Paul moving out of the way. On a fast break, Jodie Meeks drew the defense and fed the trailing Henry at just the right time to throw down the awe-inspiring dunk. Huge tip of the hat to the camera man for catching the dunk at such an awesome angle. If you’re like me, you’ll watch this .gif on repeat at least 15 times.

That was the first memorable points for Xavier Henry as a Laker.Lakers having Xavier,It’s basically like as if the Lakers had a top 5 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft since he is only 22 years and he was supposed to have come out in the 2013 NBA Draft as a Senior. He is so much more developed physically and mentally now than he was 3 years ago.

He has matured and it is awesome having him on the Lakers.I watched all his games in College and he was good as a Frosh. Now he rode the bench for 3 seasons in the NBA and he has learned a lot and is a player with fresh legs since he was basically not playing that much all those years.Great future ahead for Xavier Henry.
