Gasol Steps Up Workout Regimen

By | August 10, 2009|

After leading the Spanish national team to a silver medal in last years Olympics in Beijing, Pau Gasol is back with his native countrymen for another summer on the hardwood.  After taking a few weeks off after the Lakers victory over the Magic in the NBA Finals, Gasol is back and ready to prepare for the 2009-2010 season.

While continuing to work hard in the gym, Gasol is ready to step up his workouts to continue to beat off his critics who labeled him as soft in the 2008 finals against the Boston Celtics.  Gasol stepped up his intensity during this last season and helped lead the Lakers to the 2009 title but still feels there is work to do.

With Gasol hitting the gym early and the rest of the Lakers also getting ready to go, the 2009-2010 season cannot get here soon enough for Lakers fans as dreams of a repeat still loom large in their minds.

If Gasol can bulk up even a little, and keep fresh. Watch out! He showed signs this past season of becoming truly dominate. I can’t wait to see what he has in store.
