I completely agree with notion that Ron Artest will shoot a higher clip from the floor wants Gasol comes back to action. Aside from some of those easy buckets coming off hard cuts I can see a few buckets coming off of his ability to rebound from the weak side. With giants like Bynum and Gasol drawing some big bodies or even Kobe off penetration we'll see just how sound he is at putting a body on a body. With Artest and Kobe the lakers have tremendous potential for offensive rebounding from the wing positions.

Fisher gets a slight pass on his defense just because of his ability to anticipate some plays late down the stretch. But aside from a few of those plays in OT, his defense was awful. He continuously shows an inability to stay in front of quicker guards like Brooks. Should be something to keep looking at and see if his defense can improve once Pau becomes more active with the pick and roll defense.

Nice re-cap. I almost felt like I watched this game. Now that Baseball season is over it's NBA and NFL all the time.
