I`ll be at the fight Saturday night, to see Manny put on a punching exhibition to Ricky`s face! Hatton is a brawler and not a smart fighter. I`m looking at an early knockout for Pacqiuao. I love the Euro`s here they drink like mofo`s! I`ll be outthere with my boys toooonight partying with them!!!!!!!!!!!!! But at the end of the day Go Manny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I' glad someone else likes boxing. I'm having people over for the fight. yeah I think Manny is going to knock Ricky out. He's just to hard of a puncher. if Ricky is more disciplined and can box instead of brawl he might have a chance to go 12 but I stil think he loses.

"I'm ready for the fight on Saturday. I know Ricky Hatton is prepared. I respect him. He's a good person, a nice guy. I would like to remind everybody there is nothing personal for this fight. We just do a good job for the people, to make people happy. I will do my best to bring honor to my country. Not only Filipinos, but all people who like boxing. I'm praying that none of the fighters get hurt. And thanks to my wife and my mom, who is watching me live for the first time in my boxing career."

When Manny says something like that how can you not like him.

Pacquiao earned my respect when he beat the crap out of De La Hoya, so I will be rooting him on.

I love big fights. I'll be at a poker party trying to figure out how to watch boxing, Bulls/Celtics. and play poker at the same time..........Of course I'll be rootin' for whitey. I can't wait to hear the brits with their whole fight long "theres only one Ricky Hatton" chant to the tune of 'Walking in a Winter Wonderland'. Unfortunately, I think the dude is too dumb and slow.

It was brutal. Hatton doesnt know how to box. Floyd Mayweather tried teaching him but once he got in the ring he went back to his dumb brawler style and kept walking into punches. I thought Manny killed him with that left. Manny is too good to be fighting guys like Hatton. Lets see what Floyd does against Marquez. If he wins then we get a mega fight.

I loved the fight.... but paying 60 bones for two rounds is a little brutal.  I knew Manny was going to put a whoopin on him but I didn't realize it would be over in a flash.  The prefights (for the most part) sucked great big fat fat chick butthole though.  I dig the idea of four-round bouts, the eight-round should have been a four.  The Soto fight was okay.  I know the prefights are an attempt to showcase whatever fighter they have in mind but I think they need to play it a little closer if they want to win people back to boxing.

Eagle Rock is ecstatic! I actually had a show on Sat, otherwise I'm all over it, as I dig Manny. The next morning I went to get a bottle of Stoli for my OJ, and there was this old Pilipino guy buying a paper and a 40, and I glanced to see the headlines, and I was like "yeah, Paquiao won huh? The guys was like Si mucho kadcioancicipacja whatever he said. He was happy and the neighborhood was peaceful. glad I missed it!

I agree. I love the golden boy but his undercards suck. I hate to say it but he puts together a better undercard when its a golden boy/Top Rank event.

Just a few quick things:

1) Who was that Jim Rome ringer in the background?  He was so distracting but I guess considering the prefights it was a welcome distraction.

2) Note to Jack:  I'm really sick of seeing your azz at sporting events.

3) Note to dumbazz Brit with drum and band accompaniment, I bet you felt pretty stupid going back through baggage at the airport for your return flight home.  Next time drum up a better idea for a more portable instrument in the case of embarrassing loss.  Duh-dum-cchhh....

4) Why do the British always use the faigiest songs and change the words?  I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles??  Winter Wonderland??  How about changing the words to Thunderstruck or something?  I'm sure ACDC won't mind, neither will Gatti hopefully.

5) Did Pacquio come out to a song sung by himself?  If so he is wayyyy more kickazz then I ever thought.  That's as ultimate awesome as you can possibly get... even if the song does suck.

That Jim Rome ringer was distracting. I like Manny Pacquiao dont really care for Freddie Roach he's not that good a trainer. Other than Manny who is blessed with speed and has a lot of heart who has he made a champion. All his other fighters suck.

Does you not caring for Roach mean you can't really enjoy his remarkable resemblance to a turtle?

All I'm saying is other than Manny who has he made a better boxer. Last saturday on HBO his other Phillipino boxer Gerry penalosa got his butt kicked for 8 rds by a puerto rican Juan Manual Lopez. The fight had to be stopped because he was getting killed in the ring. Now he hired Michael Moore as an assistant trainer. thats the guy who got knocked out by a 40 something george foreman or is it forman?
