Honestly, nope. I just thought you posted a video clip of them, but they're just talking.
It was meant to comedic.  Didn't really work.

The movie reference definitely doesn't work if you haven't seen the actual movie.

Nice, that first song 'Bridge Burning' sounds pretty badass.

Agree fully. A no talent hack that ruined music. One of historys most necessary losses.

Kirk Hammet is the worse metal guitarist of all time. Second to Nigel Tuffnel.

I've been busy selling off my bootleg cd collection on ebay. No time to fuck around on the internet right now. I did not see your vids but can tell you that I am not a Clapton fan. Jeff Beck is the best of those 60's players in my opinion and I do not think it is even close. He blows away Page, Clapton, Richards, ect. I also dig on Rory Gallagher and Alvin Lee as far as the older players. Robin Trower too. Eddie VH was the man for awhile but he is a shadow of the player that he used to be. Love seeing the new metal kid on the block. Dimebag was the shit. Needless to say I was/am a HUGE Pantera fan. Got over 75 live dvds from them.

Thanks man, And I agree that Trower is one of the greats. Clapton, while not being one of the shredders, is still good, as  is Page. Not a fan of Keith Richards though, cant stand most of the Stones work, and prefer other bands covering their songs.

Why do you have to 'shred' to be good kid? Ever hear of finesse, groove and harmony? Kirk Hammet is a midget of a guitarist. All those old delta blues guys are on a higher tier. Kirk Hammet is a fag.

Notice the username?
Metal is all about the shred.
While we are talking about rock specifically in the thread, I did say shred, and changed the subject.  Nothing against the blues artists either, just a fan of the deeper, heavier tones. Cliff burton himself compared Kirk's playing to Michael Schenker, and Ritchie Blackmore, the main two factors of Metallica's inspiration. Cant deny that, while being factual.

And may he RIP. I seriously think if Cliff was alive, he would've told gay ass Lars to shut the F*** up and stay true to their Heavy Metal roots. There's no way, no way he would've went along with them selling out like that. Cliff was the hard-core, in-your-face, don't-care-what-you-say type of guy. He would've quit the band in a heart beat if sissy ass Lars didn't listen to reason. That's why South Park made more fun of Lars in one of their episodes, for being the pussy-in-charge of everything. I blame James as well. James was as much the main head of Metallica as Lars was, so he should've said something. Just shows what a pussy he was/is as well.  :jerkoff:

Agreed Chito. But he would have kicked the crap out of Lars, and never gave in to all of his bullshit. Quitting the band wouldnt have been an option for him. He did have his own band pre-Metallica (Trauma), Lars was destined to be a tennis player like his dad, so if anyone should have left it woulda had to been him. Imaging Dave Lombardo woulda joined after leaving Slayer, that would have been epic.

One of the annoying things I hate about pussy Lars is the way he tries to make himself sound intelligent with his stupid ass use of big words...now that I said that, it also reminds me of annoying Stephen A. Smith. The bad thing about Lars, is that most of his audience are heavy metal fans, which don't understand half of what he's saying. What a douche.
