Apparently he wanted 4-5 players from the Cubs. No one wants to give up that much.

Do you know who they wanted for him? I hope he takes a trade to the Braves.

Nice to see your Padres playing well Tim. I want to see them succeed in the National league west, so dudes will stop with oh it`s only the National league west.

I hate that too. No respect. But the west is pretty bad with the exception of the Dodgers.

The Padres have already proven they can win on the road, in the East no less. They COULD make a run for the Wild Card if the Dodgers continue to run away with the division.

I heard it was Broxton, Kemp and Kershaw plus a pretty good minor leaguer for Peavy. Efff U Padres. keep Peavy.

That is asking a lot. Kershaw hasn't been bad on the hill.

His short list included Braves, Cards, Cubs, Astros and Dodgers.
Can't wait to see future Angel, Adrian Gonzalez in Anaheim June 12-14.

Take the 12-14 million used for Vlad this year, and throw it at Gonzalez next year. With Gonzalez and Peavy gone, what's left for the Pads?
