They will eventually blow it with him and trade him.

If he is inexpensive I am sure the Padres would go for it.

I feel bad for the Padres. They hate the Dodgers so much. I also feel bad for Barry Zito he's still young and was awesome at one point now he's no better than say Oliver perez.

Way to keep Hacksaw's legacy alive!

It was all about Mr. Gwynn growing up.
Plus what is my other alternative, the Rockies? God no. They have horrible ownership. Their world series run two years was a complete fluke. I do have to admit that their ballpark is sweet. Beer isn't as expensive as most ballparks I have been to and they are bigger.

I remember listening to Hacksaw calling the Charger games.

Tell me more about the beer Tim.

I saw Tony Gwynn's last at bat EVER at Dodger stadium. Teared me up, because he was such a Dodger killer, and Vin gave him all the due respect. My favorite Padre of all time.

The beer is cheaper and bigger here. I guess it pays to live in the Rockies. This is truly a beer state. I am planning on touring the New Belgium brewery soon.

My favorite player of all time. I once went to a double header back when there was till double headers and you got two games for the price of one. Well, Gwynn went 7 for 8 in the two games. I never forgot that. Just amazing.
I had a buddy give me his Tony Gwynn rookie card. It is in a very safe place right now.

Who's got a better swing as a left hander? Barroids? Thome? No one?

Plus the women here are not hard to look at either. A good afternoon game here is fun. The lower downtown area goes off afterwards. There are a ton of bars with decks. My favorite place is called the Falling Rock. It has over a 100 beers on tap.

I thought Will the Thrill had a pretty good swing.
