Update: Kershaw had perhaps the best outing of his brief major league career in his last start, limiting San Francisco to a run and a hit over seven innings. The 21-year-old left-hander struck out 13, making him the youngest Dodger to record that many strikeouts in a game since Sandy Koufax had 14 as a 19-year-old rookie in 1955. Ortiz is back after missing all of last season recovering from reconstructive elbow surgery. Signed to a minor league deal this winter, he won the competition to be Houston's fifth starter. He's made one start, giving up three runs in 4 2/3 innings at Pittsburgh last week.
