Hey all, we currently have two forms of Reputation System that we can use on these forums. The current rep system we're using consists of each member clicking the plus button at the bottom right of each post if they happen to like what was posted by that certain member. A sample of that is shown below:



The other Reputation System that recently came with the new upgrade will consist of a 'LIke This' button located in the same area (bottom right of each post). However, instead of showing the actual number of positive reps that particular post received (like the screenshot above shows), it will show the name/s of all those who gave a positive rep to that post like the sample below:



So I wanted to know which Reputation System would you all like to use? Should we try the new system or stay with the current system we have now? Please place your vote in the poll above. If you don't wish to post an opinion, at least vote. The choice with the majority of the votes by the end of September will be the new Rep system. Thanks and don't forget to place your vote.

I'd like to try the new system.  It looks kinda cool!!!!

I like the + 1 fine, but either way is good if it promotes more feedback.

I haven't given my vote yet because I can't decide yet haha. Both choices are cool. I'm used to the current one and it's not too bad. The new choice looks cool too and sort of reminds me of the 'Like' system Facebook has. I'll give it some more thought before I place my vote.

I voted to use the current system just because I think people like being "anonymous" but thats just my opinion.  Either way is fine really.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe they will click to "Like" a persons comments, not specifically the person who posted the comment.

But I think Cuban Pete is right as to why certain people might want to go with the current system. Some people choose to be anonymous. However, it's not like we're giving them negative reps. It's simply showing who "Likes" what was posted. It can also translate to who "Agrees" with that comment. That's not a bad thing, is it? Anyway, I placed my vote, but I'll be happy with either choice really. It's all in good fun, so whatever the final choice is, I'm cool with it.

Sorry people, I totally forgot to get back to this. Telling from the poll results, it looks like we're going to stay with the old reputation system after all. Thanks for all your votes people.
