Yup, same here.  I like Survivor Man much better than Man vs. Wild.
The dude in Survivor Man is more practical, showing surviving techniques that a normal person would be capable of doing.  The Man vs. Wild dude tends to show off too much.  He would try to eat something raw while having a fire burning just 10 feet away.
