Is it possible to have that roster? or even just getting the Smiths?

Jim Buss already made it perfectly clear that they ain't getting rid of Andrew "the immature" Bynum. He's actually made it known that they're going to eventually build the team around that mofo in the near future. He doesn't care about his on court/off court attitude. He's just hoping he'll eventually snap out of it. So even though your roster above looks interesting, you might as well write another one up that includes Bynum cause he ain't going nowhere. Just my take.

The hard cap next year will be around $70mil if the salary cap goes unchanged. Even with their 9 million trade exception the starting lineup you propose is at 74mil. It just can't happen. Kupchak will need to find young up and coming UNDERPAID players to fill in the roster. The current roster that we have now is paid 86mil.

Kobe Pau Bynum and Metta will make a combined 70mil. That is why everyone is speculating that next year at least 2 of them will not be in Lakers uniform.

How about taking only the Smiths and instead of Pau, it will be Bynum since they already signed him a 16.1mil contract? Then, ditch MWP and get Gerald Green? The Smiths along with Bynum, Sessions and Kobe will be the starters. Backed up by Green, Barnes, McBob, Drew, Hill, Murphy and Eyenga? Still dosent fit the cap?
