Phone is buzzing. Nick Young a Lakers possibility, I'm told.

A Harden/Bynum duo could be the Lakers future.

Hearing that James Harden wouldn't rule out the Lakers next summer.

CP3, Kobe, Howard on the Lakers can technically still happen. #2013

CP3/Kobe/Howard is a longshot. So was LeBron/D-Wade/Bosh.

Don't forget: Chris Paul wanted to be a Laker.

I remember Nick said he really hoped that the Lakers drafted him. I would love to see Nick in a Laker uniform and would love to play alongside his idol, Kobe.

ESPN is just throwing out unlikely scenarios to get web hits and retweets. Everything he proposed is completely unrealistic.

Lakers are capped out just with the salaries of Bynum/Gasol/Kobe for the next 3 years. If they extend Bynum after next season they’ll be handcuffed even longer.

Nick Young is the only possibility but he is going to get more than the 3.3. million mini mid level exception that the Lakers have to offer per year. I don’t think that really fills a need for the Lakers as he plays the same position as Kobe and isnt a good defensive player.

Harden is a pipe dream. OKC will do everything to keep him and if they cant he’ll get a big pay day from another team that has cap room.

Lakers don’t have any money available, nor will they have any in the near future, to sign a Dwight, CP3 or Deron Williams. Its not like the Miami situation where they let all their contracts expire to clear up all that cap space to sign the big 3 of Wade/Bosh/Lebron.

Yeah that's not gonna happen, buddy.  The Lakers are in far over the salary cap and in order to shed these off, they need to get rid of either Pau, Bynum, Artest, and Blake.
