If Frank McCourt chooses Stan Kroenke as the Dodgers' winning bidder, McCourt does something that Eli Broad, Ed Roski, Mayor Riordan, Peter O'Malley and so many others could not do.

He not only brings the NFL back to town, but he gives fans here the Rams again.

So how exactly does this sale of the Dodgers work anyway? All bidders have to be approved by McDouche even before they can bid and even though they have the cash to do it? Sorry, I'm not too savvy about this.

The NFL won't allow Kronke to own a baseball and football team at the same time.  It is their policy.  He had to give up control of the Nuggets and Avalanche to his son so he could buy the Rams.
