I've been noticing that it's been some time since we were seriously using the Reputation System. I understand that some of you were getting a little carried away with the negative feature at that time and I was forced to take it out. Since then, we've all slowly abandoned its use entirely except for one here or there that someone or myself may have given. I would like to ask you all if you would begin using it once again, but only the positive reps will be active. The reason I'd like for us to start using it is because I've noticed that many of you have posted very valid and interesting replies and I feel those posts should be given some recognition. It will also be a nice way to identify those individuals here at Lakers Nation Forum Club who are known to make good posts. I for one am going to start using it more often whenever I come across a good posts. It can be a comment or a rant, but if it makes sense and deserves a rep, I'm giving it one.

For those of you new to the forums and are not too familiar with giving/receiving Reputation points, I've explained it below.

If you feel an individual's post deserves a Reputation point, look to the bottom right corner of that post and click the little green/white positive Rep button as shown in screenshot below:

Once clicked, you should then see your reputation point added to that post. Depending on how many people gave that same post a Rep is the total number that will show. In the screenshot below, one Reputation point has been given to a post:

If you would like to see how many Reputation points an individual or yourself have in total, just go to their/your profile and look just below your personal image and you will see the total Reputation points as shown in screenshot below:

Here are a few things to consider while using the Reputation System:

  • You cannot Rep your own post
  • You cannot Rep the same post more than once
  • You're only allowed to give 5 Reps per day

Hopefully we can all start once again to use and give out Positive Reps where it's due and gain some recognition from your fellow forum members. Thanks guys. :peace:
