The best movie I have seen lately is "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind". Its the story of the Gong Shows Chuck Barris. He claims to have been a CIA hitman. Cool story. Great acting with Julia Roberts and Clooney. Clooney directed also. 9/10

Traitor. Don Cheadle is a CIA asset undercover with some terrorist group. Only the FBI doesn't know it and they're looking to arrest him for terrorist acts.

7/10

I saw this in the theaters.  I got a free screening because it was produced and distributed by my company.  I thought it was pretty good and I would give it about the same rating.

I have to agree.  This was a great movie.  I cannot believe that guy was nuts like that.

Another movie that was produced by my company was Righteous Kill.  It sucked.  Don't go see it if you can help it.

Is that the movie with Pacino and DeNiro?

I don't think I am able to stomach any more Deniro/Pacino concoctions.

Really want to see Taken. I keep hearing good things about it. A lot of people have said it's better than they expected.

I really liked Michael Clayton. I'd give it an 8/10. It seems to be a love it or hate it type movie.

I haven't seen Taken yet, but my brother absolutely loved it. He's pumped about it before it came in theaters, and then when it did, he was a happy person at the end.

The best movie that I saw last year was THE DARK KNIGHT. Come on, now I know we all saw it.

You are kidding, right?  I couldn't even get halfway through it.  IMO, 1/10.

Taken - 7 - Liam was great but movie is totally predictable and conveniently plotted, a little too convenient. Good action, kinda like an old man's Jason Bourne. worth a rental.

Tropic Thunder - 6.5 - finally saw it, more amusing than funny, Tom Cruise and Robert Downey steal the movie.

Slumdog Millionaire - 8 - sad love story that opens your eyes to a world seldom seen. well directed and acted. no surprises here but nice story of a small film that pleases the masses. not as inspiring as critics have said and Best Picture is debatable (Dark Knight should've been nominated  angry.gif ) but a nice little film.

Hotel for Dogs - 6 - strictly for dog-loving kids (and G). parents won't be bored.

Pineapple Express - 5 - not as funny as i'd hope. almost Austin Powers silly plot-wise. the man-love is oddly played up. a running theme in Judd Apatow productions. a waste of a fully dressed Rosie Perez (where's the gratuious sex scene?)

The Dark Knight - 10 - Shocking, I know. saw it again.

You don't smoke huh, OG?  Pineapple Express was so stupid-funny I loved it!  And I'm so happy I discovered that one dude in it, the dealer who gets his azz kicked with the toilet seat, I don't know his name but I recognized his face in an ad in ESPN The Mag for his show Eastbound and Down on HBO and it is hilarious!!!  If you have not seen it you must watch it.  Plus, James Franco is freakin hot so it made it easier to watch Express.

I so want to go see Hotel for Dogs!   Thanks for reminding me =)

Night at the Roxbury, huhhhhhh?  Hmmmmmm

I haven't smoked since '95 but i think it would've helped. Danny McBride was also in Tropic Thunder and he's funny, Franco was good too but they need better material.  I will say Amber Heard, the girl who played Seth Rogen's high school girlfriend is smokin' hot and a good actress.

also saw Transformers again - 7 - its a fun action film with transforming robots, explosions, Labouf, and hot chicks- Megan Fox and Rachel Taylor.

Other than the Heath Ledger scenes, I'd agree with you. Both are good but Transformers was better for me.

The should have made the movie "The Joker" and centered everything around him instead of Batman

I saw Body of Lies last week. 7/10. I'm not a big fan of Dicaprio's acting ability (except in What's Eating Gilbert Grape?). But he did a pretty good job. Russel Crow was pretty good. Actually, this and Spy Game are almost the same movie. Young government agent (Dicaprio/Pitt) with older mentor (Crowe/Redford) who don't always see eye to eye, forced love story, and good spy drama mixed in with a little action. I change my mind, 6/10.
