Has anyone seen Quantam of Solace?

I saw Quantum of Solace. I loved it.  I like the direction where Broccoli and Co. are taking the Bond series. The darkness and grittiness. It does have good humor, too, and I certainly loved the hand-to-hand combat and the chase scenes, too.

Black Hawk Down

9.5/10

Black Hawk Down. I am so in love with that movie. The first time I saw it I was like "wow.". Captivated. It's a very well done fell. It should always be rated 8 or higher. I give it a 10. Yes.

I like this one, but I thought Casino Royale was better. I just didn't find myself caring all that much about Olga Kurylenko's character. But Craig's Bond certainly is darker and grittier than the others. I like that they got rid of most of the campiness.

A Hunting in Connecticut is Wack!

its not worth going to see. Its not even scary. The cancer kid doesnt die and its funny cause its based in the year "1987" and the people are wearing clothes that were not designed in that era and the "aunt" mentions the word "hubby" a word that was not invented til this era.

I give it a 4/10   angry.gif  The ghost hunters on Scifi is more scarier!

I saw it saturday(sort of.  I slept through the 1st hour).  Trouble was my wife and I watched the documentary about the story and the movie was nothing like it besides the house being haunted.
The kid didn't break out of the hospital and start a fire(But the cancer is go into remission)
The father wasn't a drunk.
The mother wasn't attractive.
The female friend didn't follow them the whole time.  She only came when the boy started acting crazy.
The boy tried to rape the girl which they didn't show in the movie
In the shower scene, the mother saved the girl from the EVIL shower curtain laughing1.gif
The creepy guy didn't find the bones

Million dollar slumdog 5/10 I don`t know how this movie won so many awards. The best part of this movie was when the kid dove into the pile of sh!t. I don`t like the dancers at the end either, fake thriller dance.

I finally saw Tropic Thunder, and I freakin' loved it.  9/10 as far as comedies go.
I'm going to be throwing down Les Grossman's happy dance at tonight's Angels game.
What a role for Tom Cruise! laughing1.gif  laughing1.gif  laughing1.gif
Highly recommend. up_gd.gif

I watched it a couple months ago.  I did not even recognize Cruise.  The movie is hilarious and I would give 8/10 stars.

I'd throw out a few of Cruise's lines, but I don't think that kind of talk flies around here anymore.
'I will snap off your d and shove it up your a'.(doesn't have the same effect)

The day the earth stood still  3/10

Doubt 8/10

I know why brick and mortar Dvd rental places like Blockbuster are going out of business.  They charge too damn much for a dvd rental.  I rented doubt from there but I found a new streaming system to get movies so good-bye buster and Hollywood video

Watchmen (6/10)

Not nearly as close to what I expected. Too much chatter, not enough action. Even the story was somewhat boring. I can't even pick out a favorite scene, cause there wasn't any, at least not for me. I'm a super hero movie fan, but this one just didn't quite cut it for me.  think.gif

i thought the scenes with Rorschach were the most exciting. Like in jail for example.
