Over the past 15 months, Lakers Nation has grown tremendously from just a small Twitter account (@LakersNation) to a site that has almost 90,000 Fans on Facebook (Facebook.com/LakersNation) and 23,000 Followers on Twitter.

We have created partnerships with accredited newspapers like the Orange County Register and established basketball publications like Dime Magazine and have been mentioned in numerous Laker Blogs from the LA Times to ESPN and Yahoo, even the Huffington Post!

None of this would have ever happened if it wasn't for the hard work by our group of volunteer writers, artists, podcasters and editorial staff. As we continue to grow, we are continously looking for the best of the best to help grow our site into the No. 1 Sports Blog in the world.

Open Positions:

• News Aggregator: Love reading up on Lakers News? Have an opinion on them as you read them? Well, help us out and help inform Lakers Nation on what's going with the Lakers and with the rest of the NBA!
  
  
• Pre-Game Writer - Your job is basically to write up the your pre-game thoughts and report on any injuries or news that would affect the upcoming Lakers game.
  
  
• Post-Game Writer - Love taking notes during the game? Have thoughts that you want to share? Well, if you can do it within 30 min after the final buzzer, then this gig is for you!
  
  
• Editorial Writer - Every month, we have a brainstorm session on what we would like to write about, so you'll never be left bored. If you have an idea for yourself, we'll definitely want to hear about it and give you a platform for your opinion to be heard. You never know, maybe one of those media groups above might link to it from their site!
  
  
• Graphic Artist - Are you graphically creative and love the lakers? Do you come up with stuff all the time that you would think represent the purple & gold? Help us make our site look as good as the team we root for! Wallpapers, Buttons, Banners, Flash Animation and more!

I would like to write for Lakers Nation.
Hey, Chito can you put in a good word with the man? I wont ask Hayter or ILUVKOBE for their recommendation because they’ll say I would devote all of my work in celebrating the great Kobe Bryant, which would be off base. I would focus 75 percent on the everyday happenings of Kobe and 25 percent on the wonderfully frenetic, bizarre and dark worlds of Artest and Barnes.

I would be interested in doing some writing and even providing commentary on podcasts. I did radio and wrote for my school paper for 2 years
