I watched the last inning last night, and he is getting better and stronger. I love to see a pitcher challenge the batters, and this dude was nails last night. He challenged a couple of batters with his fastball and it paid off for the Angels.

Escobar is experiencing severe shoulder pain and may be gone for the season. So much for adding to the pen.
Santana is back on the dl. Elbow problems are unpredictable, and even when he returned he got bombed.
Palmer is being exposed for the minor leaguer he is.
Lackey is becoming a finesse pitcher.
The league is figuring out Saunders....fast.
Aybar is next on Scioscia's hit list. Another failed sacrfice last night. Enough is enough. The occasional 'web gem' is all we get from baby Predator. Give Brandon Wood the position, and live with the consequences.
I was chatting with some friends about this today. Maicer Izturis is Cesar Izturis. Eric Aybar is Willy Aybar. Just younger versions.
You know what Cesar and Willy are? Serviceable-backup utility players. Nothing more!

Paul- Yes I know. I only said that to make the point that you don't need to be 20 games over .500 to be a good team. And only 5 games over .500 doesn't mean we're crap. Though, I still want to see major improvement.
Fuentes got his 20th save last night. He's settled in very nicely after a rough start at the beginning of the year.
Thank God Vladdy cut off that mop. He was starting to look like Chili Vanilli.

Samson he is not.
Even my wife's becoming bitter towards Vladdy.
When he came up in the 8th with 1 out and runners at first and 3rd, she says 'here comes a double play'.
Next pitch, 6-4-3!
I think he's done.
