I don't think that will ever happen. Gary is a little crispy around the edges, he could kill a locker room real fast.
Gary Mathews Jr. needs to earn his spot back and quit bitching. He still has his fat pay check to but him at ease, maybe he'll start earning it.Go Angels!

He'll be great coming off the bench.
Speed and solid defense.
He ain't going anywhere without comparable compensation.
It's like they keep saying in the paper, Arte's not gonna pay the guy 33 million over the next 3 years to help someone else.
No one should feel sorry for Matthews.
It's he that hasn't lived up to his end of the bargain.
Stopped feeling sorry for millionaire athletes a LONG time ago.

Thats good stuff! yeah he's still being paid and he would be playing if he didnt suck so hard. He should be mad at himself or the Angels should be mad at him .

Torii would be in Texas, if he didn't suck so bad.

That's what I meant.
We spent $50 million on a CF who couldn't play.
Then, to make up for it, we spent $80 million on one who could.
Gary Matthews actually owes the Angels $130 million!

I think Mr.Schmidt will be a big part of the 2nd half of the season for the dodgers.

He had knee issues all last season, but not as bad as Vladdy.
I think Matthews can contribute.
He just shouldn't expect a spot.
Rivera was big for us the last 2 months.

Joe Saunders threw a bullpen session on Thursday, but Angels manager Mike Scioscia still hasn't named the left-hander his Opening Day starter yet. But Saunders came out of the session feeling great after throwing about 40 pitches to about eight or nine batters who didn't swing before the Angels took on the Dodgers in an exhibition game at Dodger Stadium. Saunders was suffering from a dead arm earlier in the week, but he said his velocity is right where it should be as the season opens on Monday against the A's. Saunders, though, still doesn't know if he'll take the mound in that first game, but if he does, he said it will be an honor.
