There is no argument. Dodgers have won a total of 5 playoff games total since 1988. 5 games in 20 years. Angels have won 6 playoff games against Yankees alone in the last 6 years. You want to go Franchise history it is not close in favor of Dodgers but the last decade has not been close. How have Dodgers done head to head against Angels rhe last few years?

You will always be second fiddle. With your Angels Ron. best record in Baseball and we went further last year. You guys beat us because its a big deal for you to play the Legendary Dodgers. To us you guys will always just be some chumps.

Then it's fishing for the Halos after the annual Red Sox buzz saw in the ALDS. Yeah, I've been into baseball since 74. What's your story?

Same story as you. Seriously 5 playoff wins in 20 years is way more futility for a storied franchise than a couple of series losses to Chowder Heads. Other than Cardinal series your team had been swept in every playoff appearance since 1988. What was that like 12 straight playoff losses? I could look it up but I have better things to do. Seriously 5
playoff wins in 20 years kind of speaks for itself. Every other team in that lame division has more playoff wins in that span.

What about 4 last year? You guys went 14 yrs without even being in the playoffs then you won one measily championship. Then you couldnt even make it back to the series with some serious contenders.

You went further because you play in the inferior league. Seriously when is the last time NL beat AL in interleague play or even won an all-star game. You were basically a .500 team last year and suprise went 4-4 in the playoffs. Congratulations you guys won a playoff series for the first time in 20 years. If Angels are such chumps why are you wasting your time in this forum instead of Dodger forum?

Yeah, even the Rockies with their 7 last year.

They had 7 2 years ago then got steam rolled by the Red Sox. I wouldnt bring them up. That was the luckiest season for the Rockies ever. Tha truly was a fluke.

Because I'm starting to feel better and I love confrontations. 14 yrs without a sniff at the playoffs pal. justify that?

With your four last year that makes the total 5.
1 measly championship in 14 years> 1 playoff series win in 20 years and you need an ex- chowder head to do it

Kind of like the Dodger in 1988? Probably the only team to ever win a championship and then lose 90+ games the very next year.

And every one of those 20 years... (in fact ever since I've BEEN a Dodger fan,) I never worried about what the sh1tty Angels had been doing, but since yall had that one 'magical year' roid ring ...you're the team to beat. riiiigght.

Precisely this is like a Ram/49er or Charger/Raider fan argument. The storied franchises have a better history but in the present they suck. 5 playoff win in 20 years is pretty pathetic for a storied franchise.

Since that stupid ring the Angels have been to the playoffs just one more year. Even with one more chance than us they've won nothing yet feae like the superior team. Chumps.

Don't get me started on the Charger/Raider argument.  It always goes like this:

Charger Fan - What have you won lately?
Raider Fan - How many rings does your team have?
Charger Fan - You have not won anything in over 25 years.
Raider Fan - You have never won anything.  We have 3 rings.

blah, blah, blah...

But that is another subject for another day.
