The Angels are targeting May 1 as a return for John Lackey, as well as right-hander Ervin Santana, who is on the disabled list because of a sprained elbow ligament. Santana moved from long tossing at 180 feet to throwing aggressively off flat ground from about 60 feet Monday. The right-hander could begin throwing off a mound by this weekend. "So far, so good," Santana said. "We'll see what happens when I go off a mound." Kelvim Escobar, who is well ahead of schedule in his return from shoulder surgery, could return before Lackey and Santana. The right-hander, after throwing 41 pitches in 3 2/3 innings Friday night in San Diego, will start for Class-A Rancho Cucamonga on Thursday night, with a target of 55 to 60 pitches.

I just read Lackey and Santana are due back May 1st, while Escobar is already on a rehab assignment in Rancho Cucamonga and due back sometime before Lackey and Santana.

I read this morning that Escobar had a mild setback this week.
He's experiencing pain and swelling in the front of the shoulder.
His Thursday start for Rancho Cucamonga has been pushed back.
I'm worried about Santana.
A small tear in the elbow sounds bad to me.
They say it doesn't require surgery.
Rivera better start coming through.
Matthews is waiting impatiently.
This could be a rough weekend at home vs. the Sux.

Great effin question. A great big middle finger to channel 13 for running a micky mouse operation. That is about the only thing I have to crack on the Angels for. A really lame choice for a broadcast partner.

Time for Arte to up the security measures. I would hope people would have been able to get a more detailed description of the cowards. At least more than "between 25-30 with goatees".

I'm going to miss the Angels on HD on Fox. Sounds like Arte is looking for his owned network to broad cast on.

I think the media is confused. This must have happened at a Doyer game.

It didn't say.
He's from Buena Park, so I'm assuming the Angels.
People must have seen something.
That area is a zoo when a game ends.

The news showed pics of the guy with his friends. He had on a bunch of Angels gear. He was an Angels fan. I think it was Angel fan on Angel fan.
