This ride will soon be over. I cant believe how incredibly lucky the Broncos have been, which in turn keeps this Tebow hype machine alive. Stupid coaching decisions, bonehead plays, below average teams, playing teams with main players out have all contributed to the advantageous conditions. Defense is still playing great but they haven’t really been tested by a strong offense.

I cant believe how stupid really smart people in the sports industry are in regards to this Tebow fiasco. The media has placed so much attention on him for the Broncos 7-1 record. That is disrespectful to Fox who has been amazing at making this garbage work and the defense that has been lights out. Did the media give Dilfer all the credit for the 2000-01 Ravens team that won the superbowl? No, rightfully so they ignored his contributions and gave all its attention to the defense because it the reason that the team won. Dilfer was merely asked not to do anything stupid.
It will end this weekend when they face the Patriots.  Brady could make them look silly.  On top of it both the Raiders and Chargers flopped which gave the division to them.

So far Miami handed them a game because Tony Sparano could not add. San Diego handed them a game because well they are coached by Norv. The Bears handed them a game because they stupidly went to a prevent defense after somehow managing to shut out the great Tebow for 55+ minutes and then Marion Barber forgot how to stay in bounds. Other wins against Vikings and Chiefs who are garbage. They also somehow beat the Jets. Freaking amazing,

Do they play the Lions again any time soon? Seriously the Pats defense is so bad I would not be shocked if Broncos stay in this game either. Broncos defense should get a test this weekend though. Not many elite teams in the AFC this year as their usually are and Tebow did not have to face Pittsburgh or Baltimore this season. I think they are the class of the AFC. Houston may have been there with a healthy Shaub as well. The media is a joke. Many of those who thought Tebow would fail are now jumping on the bandwagon. I am not going to waver on this until the guy plays an entire season and can complete more than 49% of his passes. It may take until next year for the fail to happen because right now blind luck is keeping this thing going and it gets bigger every week.

In the final episode of Saturday Night Live for 2011 the cast did a sketch on the Denver Broncos and specifically how quarterback Tim Tebow has been able to play so well in the fourth quarter. SNL cast member Taran Killam played Tebow, while Jason Sudekis acted as Jesus.

I like Tebow for his grit and determination but its fair to say that he couldnt throw better than the average high school quarterback.

Up until the last game Tebow has kicked some major ass. I know little about the players or even teams as i dont watch any of it, but still. Sounds like an MVP type to me. One loss so far in 7 games i think he has played. Damn good record.

MVP?? Seriously??? His defense and some luck have saved his ass and let him continues to start but that is about as far as it goes. Playing crappy opponents (and barely beating them) and being in first place in a division that is the laughingstock of the NFL keeps him starting for now.

Might be true, however his team follows him and shows he is a worthy leader. Yes, his defense has done wonders, but he had a major part in it. And, they wernt winning before him, so ovbiously there was some sort of change.

He did have a major part in losing the game on Sunday against a team that had lost 7 straight games. Reality is a bitch and will soon be hitting all the Tebow fans. Every game that he plays qb for the Broncos is another game they go without finding a long term solution to their problem. Orton was not the answer. Tebow is not either.

8 and 5 now. Can't wait to see how he does next season when NFL defensive coordinators have a whole off season to design defenses to stop him. Maybe he can learn how to throw more consistently. Doubt it.

Cant win constantly. Packers proved that, unfortunately. If he was good everytime he played it would be a godsend to have a rookie like that. Plus, Broncos still have to set everything up around him, to give him a chance to counter the other teams who are trying to counter him.

Packers do constantly win and had a glitch. I hope you are not trying to compare Tebow with Mr. Rogers. Broncos will never set everything up around Tebow or they are stupid. NFL is a passing league and the Broncos are trying to win with a quarterback who cannot throw the ball consistently. It is a miracle that they won a few games with Tebow but it is not sustainable over the long haul.

If they win this weekend they will win the West and then they will get trampled in the first round of the playoffs.
