Im gonna need some help in picking a World Cup Game this weekend....i won last weekend by picking Uraguay to be up at the first half. I got +120 on my bet. I thought that was great considering they were -230 at the end of the game.

Okay. Ill research them. If they are big favorites at the end cant go with them. Looking for value. I noticied with Soccer they get nice odds with 1st half results. You can pick for a team to lead, draw or be down at the half.

Problem is that Germany's biggest weakness is themselves. They are very confidant, maybe even overconfident, which is why they lost 0-1 to Slovenia after beating Australia 4-0. So if they 4-1 victory over England goes to there head, they could end up losing to a very overrated and a very good Argentina who got kicked out last WC by Germany during penaltys...I expect Messi to go crazy this game, but it should be interesting!

And Brazil? Well they're Brazil lol

I'd go with Uruguay and Argentina.

There are some stories from Maurice Edu and DeMarcus Beasley about how bad it is. Beasley even had has his car torched when he was playing in Scotland.

Uruguay should be favored, but not by that much. Not nearly as much as Spain.

Javier Aguirre resigned as manager of Mexico. I bet they bring him back right before 2014 after going through 5 other managers.

Quarterfinal picks:
Uruguay over Ghana: 1-0
Netherlands over Brazil: 2-2 (Holland advances on penalty kicks)
Argentina over Germany: 3-2
Spain over Paraguay: 2-0

So do you think it a good bet to take Spain up at the half? Do they usually score in the first half? I dont know what the odds are for that but it appears it always at least even money which i think is a bargain considering the big favorites that Spain is.

3 of Spain's 5 goals have been scored in the first half. I would check Paraguay's defense in their past games as well.

I wasn't wrong about Brazil.I picked them to lose, and picked Holland to win. I only got the score wrong.

Wow. Ghana just choked a penalty kick off the crossbar in extra time that would have won the game for them against Uruguay. Now it's off to penalty kicks.

Uruguay pulls it off in penalty kicks after Ghana missed a chance to win it in extra time. Sucks for Ghana. Considering Ghana knocked out the US, I don't feel that bad for them.

That's 2 for 2 in predicting winners.

Germany smokes Argentina 4-0. Did not see that coming. Spain holds on to beat Paraguay 1-0. So 3 of my 4 predicted winners won.:funnel:
By the way, I'm one step closer to my prediction of a Netherlands v. Spain final happening.
