Germany smokes Argentina 4-0. Did not see that coming. Spain holds on to beat Paraguay 1-0. So 3 of my 4 predicted winners won.:funnel:
By the way, I'm one step closer to my prediction of a Netherlands v. Spain final happening.
I DID!!!! Just not 4-0...I said 2-1

Zee German, zee powerful 4-time champion German went down 1-0 to Spain.
The 1-0 score does not indicate how they were dominated by Spain.......for that, I am taking Spain over Netherlands.

I picked Netherlands when it all began, so I have to stick with them. 2-1 over the Hitlers. Not to mention that 4 porn stars will be giving out free blow jobs to all their twitter followers!

It wouldn't be a shock if Spain won, would it?  Spain should be the clear favorite here.

Spain and Javier? What?

If the Dutch win, 5 pornstars will give blowjobs to all their twitter followers. How could someone not root for the Dutch? It's the American way!

Spain wins 1-0 in extra time. I started to root for Spain when Holland started throwing karate kicks out there. It was pretty ugly at points. Overall, the game wasn't the greatest played. Both teams look to play it safe most of the game.

That sucks. Actually no it doesn't. No free blow jobs. Actually I dosed off at some point in the second half. Tough night last night.

I'll say that the last 15 minutes of regular times, and the extra time period was good. Both teams had some break away chances but both goalies came up big (with a mix of luck).

Very sloppy game.  I wish the Germany/Uruguay game was the final because that was a good game to watch.  They not only broke the record for most yellow cards, they obliterated it.  I thought the game was cheapened by the hacks, all the diving and some questionable officiating once again.  Kudos to both goalies especially the Neterlands.  Spain could have had four or five goals if it wasn't for him.
