That's what he gets for being a moron. He even called his dad right before he did it, and his dad told him not to. And I guess another Philadelphia moron ran onto the fied tonight. He didn't get tazed, but screwed up Cole Hamels concentration after he was pitching a scorelss game into the 9th. Philly fans are quickly moving up on my dumbass fan list.

The real story was that Cole Hamels was actually pitching a scoreless game. Philly fans have always been a little bit off to say the least. Kid got what he deserved.

if this doesnt deter people from running onto the field Im for shooting them in the leg or foot...kinda like how Jack Bauer shot those beat cops last night and then told them sorry.

I played baseball in junior college, and for fundraising we often worked as stadium security(guys in yellow jackets).
We LOVED when dudes darted onto the field or near a concert stage.  We basically had a license to kick ass.  You would pray for a guy to resist, because that just gave you more cause for nut shots and kicks to the head.
Kid got off easy with the taser.

There was a copycat Tuesday who leapt onto the field seemingly begging for a Tase. The police didn’t oblige. Alas, Philadelphia didn’t have an advocate against the cruelty of using 50,000 volts to stop harmless joyrides. Just another dolt looking to get famous.Perhaps the debate permeated the police force at the Phillies game, as the copycat avoided getting shocked. Police walked him off the warning track as fans called him a “fat loser” and chanted: “Tase him, Tase him, Tase him!”. Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels(notes),  who had thrown eight shutout innings, allowed back-to-back doubles after the incident, sending the game to extra innings, where the Phillies won 2-1.

there was a guy who ran on the field at the Ravine last Thursday. i was hoping he'd get pile drived into the grass but he just fell down. im all for tasing fools who run onto the field. especially if your own pitcher is doing well and you become a distraction. Tase him, Bro!!!!
