So bitch apologized to the reporter in private, proving how big a bitch that he is. If he is "man" enough to threaten the guy in public, then he should be "man" enough to apologize in public.

I would draft Tony Pike over Tim Tebow.  UrBITCH myers is nothing but a egomaniac college coach who landed in a state with great atheletes.  He would get thumped in the pros

Coach Meyer has never expressed nor is interested in coaching in the NFL, he is a college coach after all. Coach Meyer is great because he does what he can, with what he has.

Does what he can with what he has? That phrase is reserved for people that don't have much. The "what he has" is the best in the country.

Egomaniac, yes.
Bad coach, negative.
In a relatively short period of time, Meyer has resurrected 3 programs.
I'm not a fan of the man, but the guy can coach/recruit college football.

Good recruiter yet, great coach, I still question.  It looks easy to be a great coach when you have great talent.  Plus you KNOW Florida's program is DIRTY

MEYER: 'No stealing! No drugs! No weapons!

GAINESVILLE -- Florida coach Urban Meyer is a realist, and I like that about him. Young adults sometimes do dumb things. They get arrested. They smoke marijuana. They sometimes make poor decisions, and when you're a football player poor decisions become headlines. Meyer knows this all too well. On Wednesday, he addressed such things with his team.

Members of Meyer's team through the years have had more than a few minor disagreements with the law. At one point, arrests were beginning to change the perception of the program and even affect the standard of football Meyer has worked so hard to achieve. Let's hope those arrests are in the past. Meyer set out to make sure of that on Wednesday with what was probably his most important speech of the spring. He gathered his team after practice, everyone took a knee and then Meyer laid down the law.

Before we proceed, it should be noted that the current Gators have, for the most part, stayed out of trouble and represented UF with class. Meyer aims to see the high standards continue this summer. Last summer, arrests were a problem.

"No stealing! No drugs! No weapons!" Meyer emphasized to his Gators. He went on to remind his team that the program has a drug policy. If a player tests positive for marijuana, then that player will be punished by missing games.

Meyer should be applauded for giving this speech in public. It was delivered within earshot of fans and reporters. After practice, players said that Meyer consistently reminds them of UF's high standards. Wednesday was the Gators' final full practice of the spring. The team will have a light practice on Friday before Saturday's spring game. After that, Meyer and his coaching staff will have limited contact with the team due to the NCAA's restriction on practicing over the summer.

Meyer won’t appear on ESPN this weekend

An ESPN spokesman says Urban Meyer will not appear on the network this weekend after the former Florida coach requested he be taken off his assignment.

Several media outlets have reported that Meyer is set to become the new coach at Ohio State.

On Friday, ESPN spokesman Mike Humes posted on his Twitter account: “Urban Meyer won’t be appearing on ESPN this weekend. He requested off his studio assignment and we obliged.”

Meyer has been working as a game analyst this season for ESPN, and the rest of his usual broadcast team will be covering the Buckeyes’ game against Michigan in Ann Arbor on Saturday.

Earlier in the week, ESPN announced Meyer would work in the studio Saturday.

Urban Meyer announced as Ohio State coach

Posted Image

The Ohio State Buckeyes held a press conference Monday evening to announce that Urban Meyer would take over as head coach following the team’s bowl game this year.

Meyer did not mention Florida by name until he was more than nine minutes into the press conference. When he did, he lauded his former school, calling coaching at the University of Florida an unparalleled experience.

“My six years at Florida, Florida was my dream job,” he said. “Everybody says: ‘Is Ohio State your dream job?’ That’s a term that’s thrown around really loosely. To say I as this big and wanted to coach at Florida. No, I’m not from Florida. The way Coach [Steve] Spurrier and the way I really became a huge fan, I wanted to coach there.

“I will always be a Gator, will always be a part of that situation. Jeremy Foley, had a great conversation with him today and yesterday. Bernie Machen, the president down there, is one of my great friends. However, this is my home state, and it’s great to be back home.”
