Sorry Tim but the Bolts played like effin' buffoons. surprisingly i can't put all the blame on Norv. there's plenty of blame to go around. Norv's decision to onside kick is questionable but River's interception while on their side of the field was inexcusable, costly penalties by stupid actions by Phillips and Jackson were totally undiscplined, Nate's missed field goals were not even close, Gates dropping balls probably because he heard footsteps, LT was a ghost, Bolts run defense proved useless, etc., etc.

give the Jets credit, their gameplan was superior. Sanchito!!!!!!!!!!!

Tomlinson has had it.  Time for him to retire and wait for his induction to the HOF.
Imagine how great the Bolts would be if they had like a Steven Jackson for RB.

Steven, that would be a great fit for the Bolts. Jackson runs hard, he is a beast. he would fit right in. look what he did for the Rams. he was their only consistent force on offense and they sucked.

Chargers should fire Norv before the week is over. Not all his fault but he made some bonehead moves in this game. The best was his decision not to use  his lasat timeout before the 2 minute warning. Did not come back to bite him in the ass but it very well could have. I think he also stuck with LT way too long on a day when he was contributing nothing. Norv is not a terrible coach but his time in SD has shown that he is not going to win a Super Bowl so why not give someone else a chance. Bad decision to go for that 57 yard field goal when there was time to run one more play to get them closer. I guess the way that Kaeding was kicking yesterday that hew would have missed anyway.

Fire Norv, promote Rivera.  Rivera had the defense playing well.

Thanks Indy for letting the Jets back into the playoffs.

Iam not that crazy about Rivera especially as head coach. Bring in Cowher and let him bring in some discipline. Too many bonehead penalties yesterday just like when they gagged againt New England.

Indy did the Chargers a favor. The Jets freaking suck. There is only one way they can play and win and Chargers played right into their hands. Indy will stomp them next week. If the Chargers could have got the second score yesterday it would have been a diffeerent game.

It was almost the exact same game except the Chargers were winning that New England game when they imploded.  Stupid personal fouls.  The head butt and then Jackson kicking the challenge flag.  WTF?  I would love to have Cowher as head coach.  I just have a funny feeling they are going to extend Turner.  Rivers was way off in the 2nd half.  The way he was slinging in the 1st half I thought the Jets didn't have a chance.  Kaeding makes at least one of those field goals it is a different game.  If he makes two we may have won.

Yep some of the personnel needs to be turned over. If Shotty can get fired after going 14-2 Turner can get canned after going 13-3.

I know what you mean Timmy...
If Siragusa's fat ass doesnt squash Gannon in 2001 The Raiders likely win the Super Bowl that year against the Giants.
If the refs dont call that stupid "tuck Rule" on Woodson in 2002 The Raiders probably win the Superbowl that year over the Rams.
Oh man. What could have been.

Ravens manhandled Raiders in 2001. Rams would have beat Raiders in 2002. Greatest show on turf.

Manhandled? Do you even remember the game?
If fat ass siragusa's belly doesnt swallow Gannon the Raiders win that game. After Gannon got hurt they had to go to their joke of a back up Bobby Hoying who couldnt do anything.

also, the raiders had 3rd and long on the Ravens 4 right before halftime when the Raiders blew the coverage and gave up a 96 yard touchdown to Horseface Sharpe which was the only touchdown of the game.

Ravens only scored 3 field goals and 1 fluke touchdown...i wouldnt call that manhandled. I know you hate the Raiders Ron but c'mon man.

Trent Dilfer was their MVP that year just like Brad Johnson was Tampa's Super Bowl run!   :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Raiders may have been able to beat the 2002 Rams by way of outcoaching Mike Martz as Belichik did.
But no way you could say any team that year had more talent than the 2001-2002 Rams.
Rams lost to the Patriots through the stupidly arrogance of Mike Martz.

i don't see why Cowher wouldn't want the Charger job. the city, the talent, the weak division, why not?

Ray Lewis was their MVP.
Dilfer played the field position game brilliantly and let the defense do the rest.
I hate that 2000 Ravens team more than any, EVER!
