Adam Schefter is reporting on sportscenter that the Seahawks are looking at Pete Carroll as a possible replacement for recently fired coach, Jim Mora Jr. Schefter is also saying that Carroll is interested in the job. Bad year for USC, and who knows what will happen with the Reggie Bush investigation, wouldn't be shocked to see Petey jump ship.

He loves Matt way too much to leave for Seattle. He also loves the sun and banging SC co-eds (alledgedly) to leave just yet. I can see him leaving but not for Seahawks unless he is given full control.

Bush just lost his civil case that was hiding the details of what did to the NCAA. So if the NCAA is about to lay down the law, I could see him going. And why would Seattle fire Mora after only one year if they didn't think they could get Carroll? I think Petey is gone.

NCAA still has to prove that USC officials had knowledge of what was going on with Bush. Will be a tough case to prove and i wonder how hard NCAA would want to take down a cash cow program. Seattle probably found out what I knew about Mora before they hired him. He sucks as a head coach. Holmgren will find out next year that he made a mistake keeping Mangini.

I think this could be it.
The 'Hawks are rushing the interview with the Frazier guy from Minnesota, so they can meet their 'Rooney Rule' requirement.
McKnight is leaving before the ship sinks.  That's actually a great thing for the program.  The guy has some quicks, but no power and can't hold onto the rock.

If he's ever going to leave, now's the time.

He'll leave if he knows the (NCAA) hammer is going to fall!
Otherwise, there's no other good reasons to leave southern California.

I am starting to think this could happen too. Why the phuck Seattle though? I guess it ia all about money in the end and Paul Allen has a ton of cash. P.S. I renamed McKnight McFumble or McFraud. LSU thought that there might be something crooked going on when he left to Sc. I think he is a major fail at the next level anyway. Maybe the saints can draft him to replace Reggie Bush.

Guy's got an ego the size of Ralphie May's chones.
He wants to prove he's the best coach in the country at any level.

The biggest loss for him is that he will have to leave his mancrush. Maybe Barkley comes out early, haha.

Been down this road before. I will believe it when it is done but now I am believing that there is a pretty good chance of it happening. He will be back in the college games in 5 years if he takes this job. I predict a massive fail for him in NFL.

Corp is a scrub so his transfer means nothing. How many years of eligibility does Mustain have left anyway? I do not see him beating out Barkley whether Pete stays or goes.

i agree.  he's tailor made for college.  not so sure for football, but college coaches failing in the nba is too common.  has there been any that succeeded?  it seems they all fail.
