Their first meeting since last season's playoffs. This is one team the Lakers don't want to slack off on. They better be ready for some fast plays.  :basketball: :go_lakers:

One of the things I love about LA: Hot people at the games. Sure, you don't get "real" fans down close. But you don't get big fat quadruple FUPA, sacks of sheet sitting right under the basket like the one I just had to look at in Houston. Battier just fouled Kobe under the basket and walked away along the baseline. I just saw the biggest fattest effing Jabba the Hut MFer sitting front row. This guy would have made the previous FUPA king, Chuck Weiss, nauseous. Never, in the history of LA sports, has such a spectacle occurred so close to the action. Thank God. I love LA.

few notes on tonights game..  despite ariza being houston's leading scorer, he no number 1 option.  he's a good complimentary player at best.  he shot 21 times tonight and if houston lets him shoot that many times, they have a long year head of them.  ariza had 15, 9 & 5 but in my humble opinion, played like sh!t and made laker fans happy that we got ron while he got ran (get it, ron and ran?)..  he was throwing up bs after bs.  his shot selection was effin terrible.  dribble down the floor and pull up from 3?  are you effin serious, trevor?  really?

on a side note, tracy mcgrady is a effin crook.  he has been stealing money from the nba for years.  why would any team want his fragile like a flower a$$.
This will be Mike Brown’s last season as coach. - Nanizm

Kobe occasionally has bad shooting nights. - Nanizm

just change the coach!!! and the team will win a championship this season and next - kenjam89mb

“Anybody who counts us out is challenged,” Bryant said. “They’re mentally challenged. - Kobe Bryant

If kobe's shooting is our biggest concern going into the playoffs, we will be fine!!! he'll snap out of it! - angrykobefan

“It’s definitely going to be fun for me because I just get to catch and shoot.” - Kobe Bryant

-And If you don't think KOBE won't light it up in the GOLD MEDAL game you don't know KOBE. - lordoftherings.

Even though the Rockets lead most of the game, I still like how the Lakers stayed right on their ass. Ron played much better with some crucial shots, Bynum played good as well but he needs to control his damn tantrums. He looks like an overgrown child out there when he jumps up and down like that complaining about obvious fouls he committed. Kobe got another 40+ game.
The Lakers did miss a good percentage their shots, otherwise it wouldn't have gone to OT. Either way, the Lakers won!  :go_lakers: :basketball:

Trevor didnt look good in this game but he has been playing very well. He is never going to be a #1 option like Kobe, Wade or Roy but very good #2 guy. He is so elusive that he can slither through the defense to get up a decent shot in a half court set. He has become a pretty good three point shooter and he'll fill in the rest of the points on fast breaks. The guy looks legit, just not in this last game.
