damn, did anybody watch the second game against the Kings and the Sharks of the NHL playoffs? The Kings totally dominated and bitch-slapped the Sharks to win 4-0. Very exciting game to watch. :hockey2: :fighting0030:

The undermanned Kings played with a lot of heart, unlike the sleepwalking and always lethargic Lakers. :whistling:

Haha so true. The Kings should've taken Game 1 as well, but they weren't as aggressive as they were in game 2. Quick blocked every shot hurled his way. This was the Kings at their best. Hope they play that way throughout the Playoffs.  :hockey2:

Never going to win it all with Lombardi running the show. He is a clueless GM.

Kings blow a 4 goal lead last night. Usually I'd say series over, but they're playing the regularly chkoing Sharks.

Yea, Im like still in shock over last night's loss. How in fuck's name do you lose a 4-0 lead and then go ahead and lose the game 6-5?? It's just pathetically stupid.

Ask Dean Lombardi. He put together a team that was made for hockey before the lock out. Kings are slow and lack skill up front to compete with Sharks. Dustin Penner, Ryan Smyth and Handzus are beyond slow.

Sharks usually choke after first round. They are circling for the kill. Canucks might gag one away against Hawks.

I don't follow hockey at all, but Luongo is a little bitch. His run carrying Team Canada to the gold in the Olympics was a fluke. The Canucks will return to Vancouver after game 6. The Hawks will be coming with them.

Wow, Kings pull off a win against the Sardines 3-1. Quick had 51 stops. Sardines still lead series 3-2 though. We still got a chance. Next game on Monday. :hockey2:

What a shame, Kings lose their last chance last night against the dirty Sardines. I personally feel the Kings are better than them, but Quick made too many mistakes. They should've used Bernier more. Oh well, maybe next season.

The game where they blew a 4-0 lead at home was where the series was lost! :frustrated:

Long time Kings fan here. I agree, the Kings are a good young team, but they committed too many rookie mistakes. Quick is good, but again, too many rookie mistakes from him. Hopefully next season they can learn from their mistakes.

Sup EvenSteven, so you a Kings fan too?

I sort of knew the Kings wouldn't get far, but at the same time they didn't have to choke that bad against the Sharks. The worse part was that my cousin who lives in San Jose kept texting me to rub it in my face. Now I hate the Sharks with a passion.

Yes, I am a Kings fan.  That game where they blew a 4-0 lead at home was where this series was lost.  All in all they did rather well considering that there was no Kopitar.

I don't know. It seems like the Kings have been chalking losses up to being young for the last 3 years. They need to go far next year or else they should start moving players.

DEAN LOMBARDI IS AN IDIOT.Never been out of the second round in over a decade as an NHL GM. Kings cannot blame playoff loss on youth. Check out their roster:
Justin Williams cup winner
Rob Scuderi cup winner
Ryan Smyth
Handzus
Willie Mitchell
Matt Greene
Dustin Penner cup winner
Next year they will probably get younger so then they will have an excuse againnext year. Anti Niemi was horrible in goal for San Jose and he kept the Kings in the series.

I wouldn't say to go as far as make any serious changes next season. I like the roster we have now, but they lack experience, which is why they made too many mistakes. These guys are a tough group, I personally wouldn't change them, just work harder on their defense.
