Nice trade by Dumbardi. Way to pick up a player who is injured for the stretch run.

No. That's when the NHL is at it's best. Playoff hockey is amazing. Tons of intensity.

Could be worse.  They could be the Avalanche.  What a sucky year.  I actually watch hockey throughout the season.  But there is nothing like playoff hockey.

Or even worse. They could be the Islanders.

How about Brodeur breaking the record last night?  Very deserving of that record.  It is amazing how the Devils and Red Wings have great teams year after year.

I have a 14 game package for the avalanche.  Every year they send out the playoff ticket requests.  They did it again this season and they are nowhere near the playoffs.  Plus they want you to pay all the money up front as if they are the number 1 seed in the NHL.  So you have to buy 16 games and each series is more expensive than the prior.  They will eventually refund or put your money on next seasons tickets but I don't think it is right to demand that much money up front.

I guess you never watch the Kings then since when the playoffs start they are golfing.

I would rather be the Isles. They will soon have Tavares to build around.

Injuries and shoddy goaltending ruined your season.

Better draft pick for Avs. If you are not going to make the playoffs atleast you get a nice consolation prize. With the 3rd overall draft pick the Colorado Avalanche draft..........
Need to reload as Sakic is close to the end of the road.

I watched the Kings (51-29) beat the Red Wings yesterday. To be perfectly honest, that was the first time I ever watched a complete hockey game. I wasn't usually all that into hockey before. I would maybe watch it for a while, then loose interest, but now my nephew got me all interested in it. He's a Kings fan, who by the way, are tied for 6th place with last nights win over the Reg Wings. He even bought us tickets to the Kings/Ducks game on April 3rd. So I'm pretty anxious to see how my first live hockey game experience will be like.  :hockey:
